Doubling in My Own Life
As my very first semester of college comes to an end, I'd like to just take a second to reflect on what I've learned and how I've changed in just 4 short months. (Wow, it's only been 4 months?? It feels like a lifetime). Coming into college, I thought that I was one of those people that just had everything figured out and that I was going to breeze through my classes with all A's just like I did in highschool. I had a plan to major in microbiology as a pre-dental student and graduate with honors and make it into dental school no problem. I wasn't worried about living away from my family (45 minutes isn't that far!) and I definitely wasn't worried about my grades. Here's some backstory on me. My mom is a doctor, and she's the smartest person I've ever met in my life. She can rattle off the name of any bone, muscle, artery, disease, pathogen, you name it! I've always grown up with her as my role model and my main inspiration to do well
